In January 2020 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, AG Controls organized a free workshop during which students deepened their knowledge of programmable logic controllers. During the classes we used real S7-300 and S7-1200 controllers, which we configured, programmed and commissioned.
The scope of the workshop included:
– Introduction to TIA Portal software,
– Basic principles of PLC operation,
– Operations and function blocks,
– Principles of program structuring,
– Basics diagnostics.
From the testimonials of the students, they liked it very much, especially the real experience with real equipment.

I just attended one day workshop about PLC programming and TIA Portal and that was very well done in my opinion. The program was showing the basic concepts of the PLC and the teacher was able to explain them clearly. I can just recomend the place for other!
